Brand Story

Seven Foot Cowboy brings British style identity and culture to jeans. Above all it celebrates self-expression.
We've reinterpreted classic jean cuts and fits. Our jeans are designed with one eye on the past, the spirit of Americana plus the superior quality of Japanese denim, and the other squarely fixed on the future.
Design and detailing are used to explore new ideas in jeans. Staying true to jean culture we make them look like they have always existed. It's all about putting jeans across differently, getting that crucial blend of old and new in a way that excites even the most hardcore purists. Ultimately the jean should still be a blank canvas for individual expression that we can all put our stamp on....
ORIGIN
"Yes Big Man, those jeans in your shop are they Evisus? " the kids used to ask me in W9, swiftly followed by "Why are they so expensive then Cowboy?" and I would reply flippantly "They're big-man jeans".

Back in 2003 we were selling our Pokit x LEE Japan collab. I'd always chuckle to myself, watching them glaze over as I explained the 14oz, left hand twist, red line selvedge, one rinse, Japanese-import raw state denim. Or the design details blah blah... It was too sophisticated for them! We resolved to make modern jeans.
So in 2010 we took our knowledge of tailoring cuts and design and we started Seven Foot Cowboy to make cool contemporary jeans without dumbing down.
